5 Natural Allergy Remedies

An allergy is an exaggerated or abnormal reaction to substance or situations by some people, but some people are unaffected because their system does not respond the same way. An allergy encompasses continually recurring and prolonged sneezing, coughing, stomach aches, and sometimes a condition marked by recurrent severe headache and often nausea that causes uneasiness, therefore greatly affecting one’s personal and professional life.

Antihistamines and decongestants are just some of the drugs made to prevent allergies. But for allergy sufferers who have tried taking these drugs offer an opposition denoting antihistamines and decongestants are undesirable. Since these drugs though may prevent allergies, they also cause physical side effects that made patients feel weak or groggy and sleepy at all times.
Because of these undesirable effects, people’s ability to perceive alertness, focus, and concentrate are compromised. Studies also concluded that taking these unnatural drugs as a cure for allergies may cause dehydration in the body.

Better yet, a natural allergy treatment is said to be preferable rather than the intake of antihistamines and decongestants. Researchers claim that herbal remedies for allergies are naturally the ones that act as an agent or an instrument that has the ability to prevent the excessive fullness of the blood vessels known as congestion. In addition, herbal remedies may also loosen mucus. There are also large number of anti-inflammatory agents that are shown to calm irritated mucus; a slimy and slippery protective secretion of membranes lining some body cavities. Since an herbal remedy is found helpful in strengthening the system to make it more able to resist against outside allergens, they tend to have a vital role in the immune system.

  1. Hi Firasat,
To be honest, I have never heard of a “cold” allergy, but I will keep my eyes open for any information I can find regarding this. Good luck and I hope you find relief in your symptoms, as they sound very unpleasant.

  2. hey,

im from New Delhi India, i have had unberarable allergy since childhood, but i didnt notice it till i was 20. I had acute sinusitis when i was in my teens, but then i consulted a doctor & he prescribed a sinus spray of which i dont remember the name, the good thing was that, my acute sinusitis was gone, there was no more congested nose, but then other allergies surfaced, it happens such that right at the onset of winter, from the fall itself. whenever i “Touch” something cold or below my body temperature, i get severy sneezes and a runny nose immediately & it lasts for about 3-4 hours after that.
Even if all my body parts are covered & im maintaining a nice body temperature, the moment something as simple as a kiss from someones cold lips can trigger my problem, i have to go through this every morning when i set my feet out of my bed, it lands on a cold set of slippers which again triggers my allergy there & then.
plz inform me about a remedy or atleast inform me about my problem as i dont even know what it is.
    Regards.
    Firasat
